- Which Plan Is Best for Me?
To begin exploring VisitorAPI, we recommend starting with the Developer Plan. This plan is complimentary and designed to help you familiarize yourself with our service quickly. For deploying VisitorAPI on live websites and applications, the Pay as You Go plan is advisable to prevent service disruptions due to exceeding usage limits.
- What Happens If I Exceed the Developer Plan's Monthly Request Limit?
The Developer Plan allows for up to 1,000 requests each month. Should you exceed this threshold, the API will cease to function and return a 402 error code. To ensure uninterrupted service for your live sites and applications, transitioning to the Pay as You Go plan is recommended once you're ready for production.
- When Does Billing Occur for the Pay as You Go plan?
Billing for the Pay as You Go plan occurs on the first day of every month, covering the API usage from the preceding month. This means you won't face any immediate charges upon subscribing to this plan.
- What If I Don't Use the API in a Month?
If there are no API calls during a calendar month, you will not be charged under the Pay as You Go plan. Your subscription remains active, and charges will only apply in months where the API is used.
- How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
To cancel your subscription, navigate to the billing section of your project and select the "Cancel" option. Please be aware that for the Pay as You Go plan, any usage incurred during the calendar month will be billed immediately upon cancellation.
